A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Heretaunga Charitable Trust Inc for funds to reroof historic Waiora Cottage.
The reroofing work was undertaken in December 2018 and replaces the second hand roofing iron that was fitted to the cottage not long after it arrived at Silver Stream Railway in 1980. The new colour steel material will ensure the cottage is water tight for many years to come.
